TUF 11 Recap

Big episode tonigh with so much to talk about. He show starts off with Chuck pissed beyond belief that Tito has backed out of the fight. I know that Tito is king of excuses but he does have a family to consider and if he is legit hurt then he made the best choice. An injury like that can leave you disabled, that is something he would have to deal with long after his fighting career is over. I wanted to see that fight as much as anyone but me & the rest of the world will have to wait.

YAGER vs BRYANT

Yager is the first to land a punch. He goes in for another and misses and Bryant gets a good shot to Yagers face. Yager backs up a goes for a high kick but misses. Bryant comes in and has Yager against the cage. Yager gets in some knees to escape and they're both back in the center of the cage. Yager gets in some nice kicks is able to keep the heat off him momentarily then hits Bryant with a low blow. They stay in the center and exchange some punches and you can tell Yager is going for a finishing kick. After eating more leg kicks Bryant lands a shot that puts yager down. Yager is not out and defends in the guard.

Round 2

Yager starts of delivering kicks and Bryant goes in for some of his own & even slips in a low blow to Yager. Yager goes for a huge flying knee but misses & goes down. Bryant takes advantage & gets on top. Yager is able to get back on his feet but you can clearly see he is exhausted. Yager goes for a kick the same time Bryant goes in for a punch. The boys clinch and Byrant gets a good knee to the face in. Bryant gets Yager down and gets side control and drops elbows as Yager struggles to get up. The round ends and Yager has trouble getting back to his corner. Tito is pleading with Yager not to quit and even Brad jumps up on the cage asks Yager not to quit. Yager tells Tito that he cant see. The bell sounds and Yager is done. Bryant moves on. Tough tough way to go out.

Everyone is stunned and Chuck throws in "quit just like Tito" Ouch Chuck! Good one but damn your words are vicious! After the fight Dana talks to Tito and tells him he's done. Tito is very upset with the decision and becomes emtional. He walks out with out a word to his team. Dana has to break the news to the team and
they are just in disbelief. They are disappointed not only because he's gone, but left without saying goodbye to his team. Also the fact that he has fighter in the semi finals who is used to tito's training & now has new coaches & staff to lead the way.
Later Tito shows up at the house and says his final goodbyes to his team, which made the boys happy. You can say what you will but Tito shows genuine concern for his team & in my opinion an excellent coach.
I will miss his "up up up up up up up" chants!! Dana lays down the semi finals & it's:

After that is announced the team meets their new coach....Rich Franklin. Like we didn't know! Next week we are introduced to the "All Star" assistant coaches. Looks like it will be another exciting episode. Tell then Adieu!!
