Klovey TUF 11 Week 5 Recap

I have to say that this is probably the slowest episode they’ve played yet. The drama and action just wasn’t there. Of course we get a recap of the last fight, which was when Yager handed Blanchard his ass. Now this season there is something new, which is the “wild card.” Basically 2 guys that have already lost will be brought back and fight for a position in the quarterfinals. Back at the house they show the guys going over this whole thing trying to figure it out. Although Attonito won he has a hand injury and is out, so that means that they is an additional open spot. We already know that McKinney has a shoulder injury that will prevent him from pursuing a wild card but we also learn that Blanchard has an ankle injury that will prevent him as well. The first name thrown in is Hammertree who feels he deserves it more than anyone because he lost “a close and controversial decision.”

With Yager’s win last week that gives Team Punishment the first chance to pick the next fight. Tito says that McCray approached him and wanted to fight. They choose Josh Bryant to be his opponent. Bryant has definitely been a quiet one so Team Punishment doesn’t think he really wants it and should be an easy win for McCray.

Every season there is someone who has to complain about how hard the training is. To no surprise it is Uscola who feels that Tito is over training his team. I would like to present Uscola with the C’mon Son of the night!!! Where are you training at where they don’t push you to your limits & sometimes beyond? I just don’t understand that at all. If you can’t handle what is dished to you at training how are you supposed to last a 3 or 5 round fight?

Now back at the training center they show Tito man up and apologize to McKinney for doubting his heart and trying to use his injury as an excuse not to work hard. Now you know that this is something that Tito just doesn’t do. McKinney talks to him a bit and then accepts his apology. As soon as Tito turns his back and walks away McKinney flips him off. Bitch move homie….bitch move! There is nothing I can’t stand more than someone who talks shit or makes jesters behinds someone’s back. If you think you’re so hard than why the hell didn’t you do that shit in his face instead of accepting his apology and acting like everything was square. Grow some balls and stand up for your shit!

On a side note, the UFC 114 commercial is aired!!! I can’t help but to get excited because I know Rampage is going to whoop that trick!!! Moving on….

Kris McCray vs Josh Bryant

Round 1: These two start throwing punches early to get this round going. McCray starts to get the upper hand by landing some knees and hitting Bryant with leg kicks. Byrant punches his way out of a clinch and they end up against the cage. McCray takes Bryant down but he doesn’t stay down for long. Bryant throws more punches and McCray goes for a slam but really just ends up swinging Bryant around. Bryant is able to scramble around and goes for a rear naked choke but McCray escapes and gets back the top position. They both end up back on their feet but McCray is landing more punches and knees. By the end of this round both guys look like they are running on fumes.

Round 2: This round we see Bryant get a little more aggressive. Bryant starts throwing jabs that land square in McCrays face but they aren’t coming fast enough to do some serious damage. McCray takes some more punches and pushes Bryant to the cage and lands a good knee. Byrant buckles a little but uses that to take McCray down. They don’t stay down long but McCray continues to eat those punches to the face. Bryant moves in and slams McCray back down to the mat but can’t keep him there. They stand up again and McCray delivers a slam of his own. He lands a decent elbow and starts in with bidy shots. These two are so tired that not much action happens on the ground.

Round 3: In this round the only thing I really noticed was how cute Jake Shields looked as he watched over the fight. Love ya Jake, you’re the man *wink*! In this round the guys stay pretty much stay in a clinch. McCray grabs a leg but can’t get the takedown and finally the ref separates them and brings them back to the center of the cage. McCray starts landing some decent punches to the face but Bryant gets him down. After more scrambling around Bryant is able to sink in a rear naked choke with a few seconds left in the round. McCray is able to escape but that pretty much locked it down for Bryant. Judges give it a unanimous decision for Josh Bryant.

Once again Chuckie baby is in control of the next match up. Tito’s team is now 4-1 and you see the morale is down a bit on the team. Tito says that Chuck has a rabbit foot up his ass. Maybe so but it’s not over yet. Things could always turn around.

K*Lovely's TUF 11 Week 4 Recap

This week’s episode was filled with good things and a little bit of bad things. We are graced with 1 weigh-in and 2 fights. Unfortunately we also are forced to listen to Nick Ring, with his horrid voice, talk in this episode too. As usual the show starts off with a recap of the previous fight. They show clips of Yager cheering for his teammates but he also gives a shout out to Brad, who is his friend on the opposite team. Of course this bothers his teammates and Nick decides to give Yager a talk on team spirit. Now with a voice like his, he shouldn’t pep talk anyone but he also was talking down to Yager as if he was 5 years old. He said things like…”oh you’re either with us or against us” & “I have friends on the other team & I don’t cheer for them.” SHUT UP!!!! That’s you, but you are no one’s daddy so don’t tell people who they can and cannot cheer for! Much kudos to Yager! The moment Nick started that nonsense I would have walked away but Yager stood there and heard him out.

Chucky poo is still in control and the next fight he picks is Kycey Uscola vs Rich Attonito. Before we get to the fight the show goes into more bickering in the house. Who’s involved again….yes Yager! This time he’s accused of being a thief by Uscola. Now a lesson learned in elementary school is NEVER call someone a thief unless you know for a fact they are. After getting down to the bottom of it, turns out Uscola had it all wrong & just wanted to talk shit to Yager. Uscola, of course, never admitted he was wrong or apologized to Yager for the things he said but that’s ok, he looked like a jack ass on TV.

Kycey Uscola vs Rich Attonito

They boys start off circling around and landing a few punches. Attonito gets in a good combination of punches that drop Uscola. Attonito is all over him once he drops but Uscola scrambles around and is able to survive. Attonito slams the hell out of Uscola & started unloading more and more punches but again Uscola is able to survive and tries to set in a kimura but unsuccessful. Uscola ends up on side mount and gets in some punches but Attonito isn’t having it. Attonito attempts to stand up when Uscola throws some knees and one looks like it was to the head. The ref comes in quickly and Attonito is unable to continue. He takes the win due to a DQ. Now from what I saw, that knee didn’t hit him in the face or anywhere in the head for that matter. I find it a little shady though that he did have a broken hand. Maybe Attonito played the knee card so he quit because of his hand. Not saying that it’s true but if little Urijah can finish a 5 round fight with a destroyed hand, you need to suck it up buddy! Learn from the little people. Also on a side note, did Attonito’s skin look yellow…..like jaundice yellow? Hmmm could just be me.

Chuck stays in control and picks the next match up which is Charles Blanchard & Jaime Yager. I love when they show the weigh ins but it was completely unfair that it had to be Blanchard. At least Yager gave us something to look at…woot woot!! I’m not just in it for the fights fellas…show me what ya got!!

Charles Blanchard vs Jaime Yager

In the beginning it seemed as both fighters where a little hesitant to engage but Blanchard goes in for a leg. Yager is able to defend the takedown like a gangster! He lands a right hand and Blanchard falls against the cage and Yager comes in to finish him off by dropping bombs. Ref comes in to save Blanchard & Team Punishment has their first victory. Tito couldn’t be happier 7 you see life pumping back into him.

Now I did happen to notice that “robot voice” Nick Ring was not cheering for his team mate. Practice what you preach! Better yet, DON’T….i can’t stand to hear you speak!

Of course Uscola still has nothing good to say and even wished Yager would get injured enough not to come back. To me, that is worse than cheering for your friend that happens to be on another team. Uscola continues to hate on Yager after his victory but who cares. I think you lost your fight buddy so just shush! Back up your words like Yager, and then speak!

K-Lovey's TUF Thoughts Episode 2

Another episode is upon us and now we will start to see what separates the boys from the men, as Tito & Chuck pick their teams. I believe this is the first time Dana said someone had a better team. I think it’s a little unfair to judge these boys based on their size. Trust me, I speak from experience. I don’t even break 5 feet, but try and mess with me. You can be the biggest 185’er ever but if you have no heart, you’ll get nowhere quick. So Hammertree….shove your Willy Wonka comment!

The team breakdown is as follows:

TEAM PUNISHMENT              TEAM LIDDELL

Nick Ring                                   Kyle Noke
Kyacey Uscola                           Rich Attonito
Kris McCray                              Charles Blanchard
Jaime Yager                               Josh Bryant
James Hammertree                     Brad Tavares
Clayton McKinney                     Court McGee
Chris Camozzi                           Jon Henle

I believe in Chuck and as he was explaining to Dana, he did his research on these guys so he has reasoning behind his picks. I just think it’s far too early to say who has the better team. Remember staying cooped up in the house also has an effect on these guys, so only time will tell which ones can handle their business.

Now Yager seems to be the guy that is going to be the Jeremy May of this season. Pranks & jokes are all fun and games, but you should never bother someone’s sleep buddy! We would have had some serious problems if I was woken up at 3am by an air horn. You certainly wouldn’t have to worry about your “Sideshow Bob” look; cause when I was done you’d be more like Mr. Clean! Now all the brown boys can stick together all they want but something’s shouldn’t be done. As Bernie Mac said, I would have beat you tell the white meat showed!

Like I said before, I knew there was still some puss boys left in the house and McKinney is proof of that. I pretty much agreed with what Camozzi was saying about injuries. You cannot let the mind take over and let you be defeated before you’ve stepped into that cage. Especially when that could possibly ruin a once in a lifetime opportunity. With the kind of trainer fighters do before fights, it’s hard to believe any fighter gets in there at a 100%, so get over it! You just smashed the homies nose and you’re bitching about a bruised shoulder. C’mon son!! I liked how Tito was not letting up on him! Even though Tito is king of excuses, he knew that McKinney was ready to give up.

Now I have to admit that the Chuck Liddell piƱata was hilarious! Its just so funny to me that after all these years Chuck still lets Tito get under his skin that way. Unless, in some kind of freak accident, Tito happens to lose his tongue, he will always talk shit. Even then I think he would just start writing down his shit talk on paper. Chuck you have beaten his ass TWICE! That alone speaks louder than any shit talk that Tito can say to you. Shake it off cutie pie….don’t let him get to you!

On a side note…I love it when they show weigh-ins!!! Thank you Noke for those cute green undies you wore. That accent of yours and those undies made my night. Ok….moving on.

KYLE NOKE vs CLAYTON MCKINNEY

This fight gets off to a slow start. McKinney throws in some leg kicks to start & Noke seems to be feeling him out a bit. It seems like they both were a little hesitant to engage with each other. After a bit of circling around McKinney gets Noke’s back and tries to get a slam in, but he can’t drop him. Noke drops down and the two end up on the ground trying to get good position. Noke ends up with the better position and sinks in a triangle and McKinney taps before the round is over. Team Liddell gets the first win of the season and keeps control.

This is the first season that I don’t know which team I am rooting for. I love both of the coaches, and each team has guys that I like. I’m sure as the time goes by I won’t be able to stay neutral. Someone always screws it up for the team.

Make sure to check out our recap of UFC 112 on Saturday. Until then I bid you adieu!

T-Dubb's TUF Episode 2 Thoughts

Ok, I really hope that every episode will not be focused on Yager and his antics. I know that there has to be some form of entertainment on the show, but I’d rather watch the guys train and workout, than see 3 idiots running around at 3 in the morning acting like jackasses. Try waking me up at 3am with a blow horn, and see who goes home crying to mommy. The preview for next week’s episode promises more drama, with Yager in the middle of it. Shocker. Either put up or shut up. He’s either that immature or he’s playing mind games with these guys and already has 2 followers to join the torture. He's most likely that immature.

For the team picks, Tito’s team was commenting on the size of the guys, but if you remember last season, Rampage picked all of the big guys and lost all but one fight. Not that size doesn’t matter, cause it really does in my world, there is a reason that Chuck picked the team that he did, and we’ll have to wait until the season progresses to see if his strategy and reasoning will prevail. Not sure, but it seems as though Dana and Tito are solely going off the first fights they saw of these guys, to determine who they think are the better fighters.  Chuck actually researched each fighter, which makes more sense to me, but what do I know, I'm a woman who can't be objective, so I've been told.

The fight for the night went pretty quick with Noke winning by triangle. Not underestimating Noki, because I knew he would win, but you can see how guys can psych themselves out because of an injury. McKinney complained the whole episode about his shoulder, and wimped out of exercises that Tito thought he could push through. During the fight McKinney seemed ok, but if you’re telling yourself that your injured and you can’t do certain things because of the pain, then you defeated yourself before you enter the ring. Noke was ready even before this fight was announced. Noke has way more MMA experience, and has more than 3 fights under his belt. Noke would have won regardless of McKinney’s hurt shoulder.

Here's this week's recap about the fine ass men of the week.

Chuck looked fucking hot when he walked in for the pick's.  We ran into him in Vegas once, and he was the nicest person ever.  That's where I feel in love with him.  It was love at first site.  As much as I cannot stand Yager.  He has the best body so far.  I want to like him, but his personality is a turnoff.

I saw McKinney's clip on the TUF site after this episode, and he seems like a nice person. This clip brought his cuteness up a few notches, after it had dropped significantly during the episode.  He has time to make up the difference though.

Noke baby...Gotta love those Aussies.  I know I do.  Just keep doing well and you'll stay at the top of my wish list.

I'm all ready for the next week's epsiode, but I'll just have to visit the Spike TV and Ultimate Fighter websites for my daily fix.

T-Dubb: The Ultimate Fighter 11 Week 1

It’s that time again for a new season of TUF, and this time around, the season shows promise of being interesting and not filled with puss boys. It’s just the first episode, and we still need to see how they handle training, but these fights were brutal and exciting to watch. There was blood everywhere, shoulders popping out of sockets, broken eye sockets, and the worst shattered nose ever. Besides the French guy, everyone stuck it out and took a beating from their opponent. There was no dancing around the octagon trying to hold hands. There was actual engagement from the start.

So far, only Noki is on my attraction radar, mainly because he has an accent, so that automatically puts him on my fave list. There are few maybes, but I’ll have to wait to see how they act in the next few episodes. There’s always one person that quickly makes it to my “Cannot Stand List”, and right now it’s Jaime Yager. He can kick the hell out of his opponent, but I smell issues from a mile away, so roomies beware.

Seems like it’s up in the air as to who will dominate this season. The guys came out ready for war and they did not disappoint. Dana looked like a fat kid in the candy store, and you can tell that Chuck and Tito were ready to pluck guys from the ring and put them in their jerseys.

Speaking of Chuck and Tito, they were great coaches before, and I know that they will not disappoint us this season. So many people can’t stand Tito, but being cocky doesn’t make you a bad person, just big headed. I thought Tito was one of the best coaches this show has had, because he actually cared and made his guys work. Chuck’s just great no matter what. He can just sit there and do an amazing job.

Sorry for being short, but it’s only week 1. The fights were great for this first episode, but everything can change once they’re in the house. They were just fighting to get in and impress the coaches, now they have to show what they are really made of from start to finish. I’m sure there is at least one puss boy left, cause there’s always one in the house, and then a few guys who just don’t measure up to expectation.

So we’ll pick up again next week. Don’t forget to set your DVR for next week on Spike.

K*Lovely: The Ultimate Fighter 11 Week 1

Another season of The Ultimate Fighter is upon us and I am excited! Chuck & Tito are great coaches and have some passionate hate for each other. How do you not love that?

I'm so glad that the show kicks off right away with fight after fight. Of course we are graced with one of Dana's "don't fuck around" speeches. The first fight shown was Yager delivering some awesome headkicks! I hope later on we get to see more of his skills because you can't always win by those. Ask Cro Cop. Then a hottie was brought on screen. Helllloo Brad....you’re great...let's hope you can fight! Whewww he can! I was very glad to see him advance.

Next we get some bs! Our first boy with an accent and he has to be a quitter!! I thought hackleman was going to whoop his ass! I loved that he grabbed his arms & almost dragged his ass back up. Oh well he goes home looking like a bitch!

I liked the fact that most of these guys finished their fights. There wasn't many fights that were left to decision. There was some quick KOs and submissions.

I would like to say I don't think Nick Ring should be allowed to speak or at least do anymore interviews, but good fight buddy! Now Joseph Henle...I'm sorry but there is no way I can call you Leonidas. I think if Clay Guida & Andrei Arlovski had a love child they would produce Henle. I'll have a new nickname for him by the next episode.

The O'Donnell & Camozzi fight was a good one. Those guys showed a lot of heart in their fight. That is the kind of attitude and determination you should have going in there. You have Dana, Chuck & Tito right there so you should go in their giving it your all! I would have been happy for either one to advance but the cuter one advanced, Camozzi.

The Lynch & Mckinney was off the chain!! Usually we hear guys complain and cry about having to fight a friend but these boys killed that noise & fought each other like 2 strangers off the street. Now if someone told me that my nose was on 2 diffrent sides of my face that would be all she wrote. Lynch hung in there like a rider but it just became too much to take.

Now I would like to take this time to give Dana an award for best reaction to fights. His faces were EPIC!!

I am really pumped for this season and still can't choose which team I want to prevail. Tito is bringing in Razor Rob as an assistant coach and I think he'll have alot to offer. However Chuck is bringing in Jake Shields (hubba hubba ladies) Not to mention the fact he is a champ but that boy is good & can bring some different knowledge to the table. This season should not disappoint!
